Orfeó Gracienc is a music institute located in the hilly Gracia district of Barcelona. The project involves the complete renovation of the building, including all interior spaces and the main auditorium.

The building is situated in a densely built area, with only one available façade and no internal courtyard. To maximize natural light, the design employs light-colored surfaces with high reflectivity—up to 95%—enhancing brightness and reducing the need for artificial lighting. This is complemented by a modern LED system, providing significant energy savings compared to traditional lighting.

The staircase, visible in the photographs, serves as the main vertical connection between the building’s three levels. The ground floor houses the reception, the main auditorium, and practice rooms, while the upper levels accommodate offices and technical spaces, ensuring a clear and functional organization throughout.
